Polina's Privé In Watercolors

Images presented by Valerie Anderson

I finally got a chance to meet Valerie Anderson while she was taking pictures of Polina's Privé's windows. Valerie makes beautiful watercolor paintings and has found inspiration in our storefront windows. Her paintings are lovely and delicate and have a way of capturing that daydreamy feeling in our everyday surroundings. Our store displays are practical and purpose built but we also try very hard to make them warm and welcoming as they are quite literally the prospective customer's window into our world. They convey the feeling and essence of our store, not just what we have for sale but the intimate and elegant environment that lies within. It is so very important that our windows create an inviting sensation to the passerby, as even in this day and age some people have a stigma towards lingerie, as if beautiful underwear were somehow embarrassing to them. It is for these reasons that we are so excited and pleased to have such a talented artist find our windows an inspiring enough subject to create these lovely paintings.
